I finally had to ask if someone could assist her with the manicure as I could tell I was going to be late. She did more running around the store vs tending to my nails. Finally someone did help or I would have been there another 15 minutes.
Lousy job. Cost $100 with the tip which she didn't deserve a tip since my gel only lasted 6 days before it started peeling off! My cuticles were cut in a fashion that they had splinter like skin coming up.
She took two hours to get my manicure and pedicure done. I made an appointment and made it clear I only had 1.5 hours before I had to leave for another appointment. All she cared about was making the sale say whatever to get you to buy.
I made an appointment for my mother, sister and myself to get pedicures, about an hour before we showed up for it (walk-ins are also ok). They have lots of pedicure massage chairs (I think I counted 8 total). Easy to get to on S.Kihei Rd.
Good value and service. My wife enjoyed her mani and pedi.
We got the Royal Pedicures (very reasonably priced) definitely worth the little extra. Wonderful service, the calf/foot massage was excellent (could have been a bit harder but I didn't say anything either as I was just too relaxed).
The store was dead, no excuse. Cindy, the owner, wasn't in that day. I will NEVER, EVER go back...sad as I've been going here for years. Lived on Maui since 1986, had to tend to my ageing father on the mainland for the last 13 months...my god have things changed.
Bring your own drink if you're the thirsty type, or there's a water cooler in the back.
Very clean place with disposable liners for the foot tubs and well kept facilities (the chairs have seen better days aesthetically but you don't notice once you're sitting in them).
They did a great job on my same-day walk in for shellac nails and a pedi. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and done so nicely! 11 days later they still look perfect (other than my outgrowth). It was not inexpensive, but it was definitely worth what I paid I will go again next time I am in Maui!
There was no pressuring to add on extra services but nails and a massage therapy table were readily accessible.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting in or near South Kihei who's looking for a little foot pampering. I think I'm going to make it a regular stop any time I'm in the islands.
We asked for designs on our toes and what is usually just a simple flower turned out to be a small island masterpiece complete with small gemstones. I asked for a palm tree and I got my own little private island-scape with a little sun, ocean waves and even a little gem for the coconut in the palm tree.
I walked in without an appointment. It wasn't busy so they were able to get right to me. I got the Royal which includes ten minutes of leg and foot massage. It was a lovely experience. The flowers are real works of art! The staff was friendly and professional. I'd definitely go back.
