While on vacation, I was fortunate enough to contract bacterial pharyngitis. After suffering through it for nearly four days I gave up and went into Urgent Care Wailea Makena. Jill Smith was my attending PA. After diagnosing me with both pharyngitis and IMS (Ignorant Male Syndrome), she was kind enough to prepare me a throat relief elixir and some other goodies to provide relief. She and the rest of the staff were professional, courteous and accommodating. The facility was clean, organized and comfortable. I was very impressed. Ms. Smith was especially professional. She was also witty enough to poke fun at me, which was much deserved. If you find yourself sick on the island - go see them. And don't wait four days to do it. Had I listened to my wife, Ms. Smith would have had me feeling better in 6 hours as opposed to 4 days and 6 hours. This is symptomatic of IMS, and there is no known cure. Thanks again Jill.
This team is phenomenal!! Fractured my ankle while on vacation in Maui. Went here for care. Was seen immediately. Everyone in the office from the front desk crew to the medical team was extremely helpful, kind, and caring. A+ service and A+ care. Highly highly recommend them. They don't accept insurance but will help you submit the forms needed to submit a claim to your insurance company. Pricing is reasonable, especially compared to an ER visit.
Best medical service I've ever received! They see you almost immediately and were so incredibly kind and understanding, and let me use their shower over and over again to help me calm down. My only wish is that they were in Australia so they could be my regular drs. Can't thank the team enough :) they saved my holiday.
Our son contracted a staph infection while on our vacation. Then due to scratching her mosquito bites, our daughter became infected too. Dr. Hallman and her staff were great. They were quick to take action and gave us specific advice/instructions to treat the infections. Our young kids are getting better and a terrible experience was made more tolerable knowing we had good care away from home. They charged us full price, but we are hoping to get some reimbursement from our United Health Care insurance...and even if we don't get reimbursed, it was worth every penny. Highly recommended!
