Enjoyed our first trip to coconuts. Had an original poke bowl and fish tacos. Don't be worried, 2 of the tacos will fill you up - they are closer to 4 worth of fillings. Recommend the south of the border sauce add on. However, they went quite heavy on their coleslaw/mayo sauce on the tacos and in the poke bowl. (It was way too much for us)

I got the steak tacos and they are the best tacos I've ever had. The 7 layer salsa was so good! Customer service is also fantastic and the bathrooms are nice and clean. Very well done place!
The parking is plentiful and you’ll find Coconuts upstairs with very clean restrooms! Either location is great but the smaller place has very limited seating and there are usually lines of patrons waiting to order food.
Best casual dining on Maui. We ate here twice in 5 days and it was fast and great both times. Fresh catch was better fish than I had at an expensive four star place later in the week. You can't get better no frills fish anywhere.
So the place is on the second floor. You walk ups stairs and take 2 quick lefts into the cafe. You place your order and you get a number and then you can sit where you want.the tables are bench style surfboards and also they have regular chairs. We both ordered the ono and ahi fish tacos.you get 2. There is 12 ingredients on them and they are on corn shells. They were amazing! The flavors they put together compliment everything. You get a lemon wedge for a citrus twist. Don't worry about the condiments none needed due to the sauce and mango salsa on them. If you eat both they will fill you right up. Did not try anything else but would not hesitate to. They served Maui brewery on tap 6 kinds.
Of course, the Fish Tacos are the best anywhere but I decided to try the Fish and Chips. At first, the Fish looked flat and over cooked, dark and crusty, BUT.... there’s one piece of Ono and one piece of Mahi and the flavors in the coating are fabulous, the fish cooked to perfection, light and flaky, definitely not over done! Tons of crispy fries too and the Slaw, WOW, take your time to savor the fantastic flavor!
