The boat, the crew and their attitude was all excellent. Friendly, helpful, and understanding of different levels and desires in the group. They also clearly care about preserving the ocean and make sure everyone they bring along does as well.
They were welcoming and this trip was fun. I’d go again.
Wonderful family owned and operated business. Because they cater to smaller groups, participants get more snorkel time in the water than some of the large group charters. Our group was able to snorkel in five different areas with guides who were patient in teaching us what to do (it was our first time). They gave us interesting info about our snorkel sites and pointed out cool fish, starfish, turtles and an octopus during our outing. Bonus was that the gregarious group kept us well fed and hydrated with assorted muffins and fruit before and during the trip and a delicious lunch on the way back. If you're snorkeling in Maui, you MUST call Maui Snorkel Charters!
We had an amazing time snorkeling with Maui Snorkel Charters! Everyone was very nice, the boat wasn't crowded, and we got to see multiple turtles. We snorkeled 5 separate times along the trip, had muffins, pineapple, and water between snorkels, and had lunch after the last snorkel. I highly recommend snorkeling with this group!
My wife and I did a snorkeling excursion to Molikini. The boat ride was short and fun. They provided muffins, pineapple, and coffee and hot chocolate for breakfast. They also provide reef-friendly sunscreen. And of course, they provided us with snorkeling gear. The whole crew was really nice. Since we were on a smaller boat with less people, we were able to snorkel in five spots or so, which was really nice. The snorkeling, itself, was ok, but not that great, at least compared to the Great Barrier Reef. Maybe my expectations were set too high. I also would have appreciated if the guides had educated us more on the marine life, the reefs, etc. For the most part, they provided us with the gear and then let us go off on our own. It would have been nice to learn a bit more. We then ended with a lunch of wraps (veggie and non-veggie), chips, and a drink, which was great.
