Summer was so helpful and responsive via email and made booking etc so easy. Eddie was amazing. Calm, friendly, warm and giving just the right amount of feedback at exactly the right time for my boys (13 + 9) and me to get to the next level. I was watching other instructors nearby and Eddie was in his own league. We were beginners but left the water wanting to become real surfers - indeed we rented boards the next day and put Eddie's advice to good use. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about these guys, They provide a superb service. Their attention to detail and customer service is exemplary. I had my dad and sister surf with Eddie and they had a great time. Both Eddie and Summer were so kind and patient with all of us. They had my dad up and riding in no time and even feeling confident enough to come back the next week and surf on his own!

We had such a great time on our surf lesson. Eddie our instructor was fantastic. We booked a semi private for my husband and my 8 year old son and I rented a board from them to surf along side. We loved the one on one focus Eddie gave everyone. He really wanted to make sure everyone had fun but also stayed safe. He managed to keep my son from noticing how chilly he was getting by getting him doing lots of tricks and having fun. Eddie made sure to give us lot of advice if we decided to come out again without him. The photos we bought are wonderful and help us keep these awesome memories fresh. We can't wait to come back and surf again with Eddie! Thanks for the yoga pants loan which saved my knees from getting rubbed raw. A quick shout out to Summer, who was was fast and efficient with our booking.
I stayed eight weeks in California and Hawaii and during this time I had several surf lessons and five different teachers and Eddie is by far the best. My goal was not only to stand on a board once to have a nice photo to take home with but I really wanted to learn surfing. After my first lesson I booked two more. Contrary to most other surf teachers he really showed interest, attended to my wishes, gave helpful tipps, was patient, funny and a very nice guy. Should I ever come back to Maui, the first thing I will do is book a lesson with Eddie.
Surf Yoga is the place to go when you need a surf lesson. Not only because the detailed instruction, but also the great service. AFAICT, they're they only surf school that provided a wet suit for students when it's cloudy. High recommended.
