Surfing with Eddie was a highlight for my 8-year old son! He took two lessons during our trip; one with his Dad and one private. Both times he had so much fun. Eddie is a fantastic teacher. Thanks also to Inaldo for the amazing photos. We enjoyed our entire experience with Waves Surf School. Highly recommend.
Great experience. The instructors were amazing. I had my two children (3 and 5 y/o) taking lessons also. They made sure the kids were safe and having fun. We all stood up and were surfing from the get go. They even helped other people taking lessons from other companies to ensure everyone had a great time. I would recommend them!

Took my family of 6 for a family surfing lesson. Instructors were knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. With ages ranging from 56 (I'm the old man) to my son at 20 years old, the Waves Hawaii Team had their hands full but were extremely patient and helpful. Got everyone up within a few waves and catered to each individual's ability. Waves varied in size but were very easy to learn on and everyone had a lot of fun. If you want to learn to surf and have fun - this is an excellent option.
The owners went out of their way to make sure my son, Austin, had a great experience and was challenged. Can't thank them enough!
