Great location. Great price. Facilities that match the price. Bed could be softer but a minor complaint.
Clean, quiet and comfortable. However, platform bed was very noisy and we didn't have a "do not disturb sign" for our door and the room maid would be knocking and waking us up everyday. People at the desk very pleasant. Parking stalls a bit narrow. Many people took 2 stalls.
We stayed in the unit closest to the ocean, on the second floor. The room was tiny, and did have a little bit of a "run-down" feeling, but we never had any issues with bugs. The air conditioning unit was a little loud, but not unbearable. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. For the price, and ease of ocean access, I would definitely stay here again!
Rooms are tiny and very basic BUT we were right at the beach! Room was also very clean, ac worked or we could open windows. Our unit had an "ocean view" which was not expected only because we had a great rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely not bad if you're traveling on a budget and you want to be on the beach.
My husband I stayed in Maui for 6 days at the Days Inn. It's located right next to the beach just a short walk away not needing to cross the road. There's a great snorkel Reef where we were able to see turtles during the day (just standing on the beach) and tide pools at night. The waves are calm and the water is warm. The rooms themselves are clean and well kept. It's not super formal, but I think that's what I liked about it. It does have a microwave and refrigerator and the rooms have complimentary paper towels as well. There are showers outside to rinse off before coming in. There's also lots of parking. We even got to take advantage of the laundry facilities. They offer free laundry detergent and dryer sheets. It's a dollar fifty to wash a single load and a dollar fifty to dry. We needed to do two dryer cycles to get our clothes dry. The staff was helpful and kind. The grounds were being worked on while we were there and even the grounds crew was very friendly. I'm assuming pretty soon everything will be lush and beautiful.
