I prefer the cottage, although I did see the other rooms. Very peaceful. Some days we would just stay on the property, relax and then BBQ at night.
The location is perfect. Tucked away in a private quiet neighborhood just minutes from beaches, restaurants and resorts. We stayed in the cottage, which is separate from the main house, but only steps away from the pool/jacuzzi. One of the highlights of our morning was sitting on the deck drinking coffee while watching the birds feed.
The cottage we have rented at Eva villa is cute and quiet, surrounded by lush vegetation. We did have to clean the cottage when we arrived, it was pretty dusty, floors were not cleaned unfortunately, but since we have cleaned it to our standard we are comfortable there.
My wife and I absolutely loved Eva Villa! Rick & Dale are wonderful hosts. They had the cottage open and ready for us as soon as we arrived. Rick immediately gave a rundown of all the local restaurants and things to do if not relaxing by the beach!
Wonderful experience, nice place, gorgeous villa ! We stayed few nigths at the cottage, Rick was an amazing host, very nice and dedicated to his hosts. He gave us few tips (restaurants, activities, places...) If we will come back on Maui, we will absolutely come back there ! Thank you again for everything !
Rick and Dale Pounds, are the hosts during your stay at this one of a kind, beautiful location. (They are also the owners, but you never get that this is my place kind of attitude). I felt like I was at home. The rooms are so nicely decorated and you feel just like I thought I would visiting Hawaii. Tropical gardens, with fruit from the trees, Beautiful Swimming pool, and comfortable beds!. The breeze through the palm trees makes an amazing relaxing sound and keeps you nice and cool.
We spent 10 days at Eva Villa, loved our stay. Rick and Dale were great hosts, very helpful and knowledgable about the island. The cottage was exceptionally clean, beautiful pool and grounds. The upper deck is a great place to view the sunset and stars, at night. Our next trip to Maui, we would like to stay at Eva Villa, again.
We would highly recommend staying at Eva Villa. Rick & Dale went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun! We will definitely book again when returning to Maui! P.S. Make sure to try Ricks special blend of Maui coffee :)
I think we have found our home away from home. Looking forward to staying there on our next visit to Maui.
Rick gave us all the information about places to see, live music, golfing, fishing, snorkeling, and even found an amazing massage therapist that came right to our cottage.
