A great place to be. Quiet and well away from the ‘must be’ hotel / beach areas. Beach only a few metres away and was deserted when we visited in September. Parking spaces. Welcoming check-in. Clean and well furnished cottages. Sunsets amazing.
Relax in a part of old Hawaii. A tropical garden setting with ocean views and no big resort crowds. Take a nap in the hammock, watch the sunset from your private lanai in one of the ocean view cottages. Step back in time, enjoy nature and rejuvenate your soul. A longtime favorite for an island getaway.
My husband and I agreed this was our favorite hotel that we stayed at during our vacation. It only has about 10 units which made check-in and parking easy. The room had a cool vintage feel and was very large with a large bathroom and outdoor patio. It had the best bed we slept on during this trip (which included a stay at a resort in Wailea.) Our highlights were seeing sea turtles at Charly Young beach about 1 mile south, getting shaved ice and pastries 8 blocks north, and just relaxing on the porch and looking at the beautiful garden.
