There are restrooms and showers. The tree on the far right side of the beach in the rocks puts off very big thorns. Be careful if you are barefoot. They really hurt.
We go here a couple of times each visit. Fantastic place to snorkel. You need to have your own equipment, but on the island that can easily be rented. The walk to the entry point is a path of lava rocks and the beach is black sand and a bit rocky. Dispite all of this the amount of fish and variety is above any other place that we have ever been on the islands. Literally a foot in the water there are lots of fish. It's not really a "sit down" beach but great snorkeling!
A good place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Snorkeling is fun and I saw a lot of small fish near the Rocky jetty. Swim on the leaside.
Fabulous drive to get here. The scenery onshore and off was unlike anything we'd seen on our trip. Really worth the time to go. The road is... Well, take your time, respect the property owners, be courteous when you find yourself at narrow spots with other drivers. Enjoy!
This IS the best snorkeling on Maui, new parking lot is paved now, no flushing toilets or showers bit there are bathrooms. Great coral reefs, abundant fish. Must do!
It was great, really rocky but had insanely amazing scuba diving or snorkeling. It was insane how many fish there were.
